Can NRI org. take advance rulling for determination of its status of assessee ie whether it is trust or aop

yes an NRI can take an advance ruling , even a resident assesse having an affiliation with a foreign entity having a place of business in Indian can take the advantage of advance ruling..,however it must not pertain to any case already pending before such authority...
