Who are "jobbers" in the stock exchange parlance? how exactly they are differenent from brokers? please provide example.

25 August 2008 A broker is a member of a Stock Exchange who is authorised for dealing in securities at the Exchange on its own account or for its customers.

Jobber is a specific term used in the context of persons dealing in intraday securities with an intention to make a profit on account of price difference at two moments of the day.
