Dear all,
when should be discount given?
before gst
or
after gst
when should be discount given?
before gst

If discount is known at the time of billing, the same to be deducted from Value of supply & GST applicable on amount derived after deducting discount. If, discount is given after billing/supply i.e at the time receiving payment, it will not effect transaction value & there will be no change in GST.
