Respected Sir/ Madam.
We are facing issue whilee fillig form 35 ( CIT Appeal ) . In the Basic information profile a continuous errror is being displayed i.e "Please click on My Profile in the note given below to update your contact details with all mandatory fields." however the same is already updated.
Due to which we are unable to file form 35.

Clear Cache & Use Compatible Browser
Clear your browser cache and cookies.
Use recommended browsers like Google Chrome (latest version) or Mozilla Firefox.
Avoid using Internet Explorer or unsupported browsers.
Re-verify Profile Details:
Go to My Profile > Contact Details on the e-filing portal.
Check for these mandatory fields:
Email ID (active & verified)
Mobile Number (active & verified)
PAN (correct)
Correspondence Address (complete)
Even if details look filled, try re-entering or saving again to trigger a fresh update.
Update Residential Address and Other Details
Sometimes incomplete address fields (e.g., pin code, city) cause this error.
Update address fields carefully and save.
Use ‘Update Contact Details’ Option
In My Profile, click on “Update Contact Details” explicitly, even if details are current.
Submit any OTP verification if prompted.
Logout and Login Again
After updating, log out and log in again before trying to file Form 35.
Try Filing with a Different User or CA Account
If you are filing via a Chartered Accountant or Authorized Representative login, check if the same error appears.
Sometimes filing through different login helps.
Check for Portal Announcements
Sometimes the portal has downtime or glitches — check for any notifications on the e-filing website.
Raise a Grievance / Contact Helpdesk
If all above fail, raise a grievance on the portal or contact e-filing helpdesk at ______ or email support.
Provide a screenshot of the error message for faster resolution.
