19 August 2013 hello sir i want to obtain the permission of icai for transfer of articleship coz my father's business transferred to another city so plz give me format of letter which i required to send to icai and along with letter which documents i required to submit to the icai?

19 August 2013 if u are in ur first year of articleship then no need to take prior permission just fill form 109.
if your in 2 or 3 year then mention the fact on a plain paper that u want to shift and u need to provide address proof to icai of ur new house and then if they allow fill form 109.

19 August 2013 OK and hand written letter is mandatory or printed letter is also allowed? and in how many days i will get reply from icai?

19 August 2013 no printed letter u need to write in ur own handwriting and should be properly signed giving all details required.
it normally takes 1 month.

19 August 2013 OK sir and address proof of new house is not possible now so what can i do? and to whom i required to send this letter plz give me address.
