How much year an auditor must kept the audit working papers like quarry sheet, certificates from management, copy of audit report etc. with them.

SA 230 prescribes a period of 10 year. So it must be kept for 10 year.

I have conducted the last audit of a firm/company for the financial year 2007-08 after than I resign. Whether it in nrcessary to take record till now.
