If Indian Co. making an investment (in Equity capital) in MAURITIUS & making payment some of X amt. to NRI co. for aforesaid investment, does This payment require TDS U/s. 195? if Yes, at what rate?

The payment is not in the nature of income in the hands of the receipient and hence not liable for deduction of TDS.
