Tds on rearing charges

Dear sir
our firm is engaged in poultry business.
We are giving day old chicks to farmer for growing purpose.After 3 months growing period is over we taken back our bird & sold
to another party.In chicks growing period farmer take care our birds ( Giving water,feed,medicine ). In lieu of we paid rearing charges to farmer.
My question is Tds is applicable on payment of rearing charges to farmers .The answer is yes ,then whether 194c or 194I.

194-I is not applicable. 194-C will be applicable. Need to deduct tds @ 1 or 2% depending upon the constitution of the farmer.
