do we have to deduct tds on appreciation payable? if yes then at wat rate and whta is the maximum exemption limit

If It is paid under the head salary, TDS is deductable.

actually i work in company which deals in fd and rd. on maturity of fd they pay to the customer either land or money. interest amount of fd they post it to land appreciation a/c
