Tds not deposited

I deduct contractor Tds on dtd 04.08.08 on sum of Rs 38,000/- but I forgot to deposite same into the bank but now we came into knw when we r issuing Tds certificate, what can i do is it any possibality in a/c treatment or shall i make revised return.

make payment now with 1% int for each month and file revaised return for the 4th q
