I HAVE RECEIVED LATE PENALITY ORDER FROM TRACES DUE TO CORRECTION IN TDS RETURN, BUT I AM ONLY CORRECTION IN PAN NUMBER, WHY LATE PENALITY ORDER IS SERVE TO US.
PLEASE EXPLAIN.

Check both your original and correction returns for any discrepancies or errors beyond just the PAN correction. Download Justification Report. This report can provide insights into how penalties were calculated and what specific issues may have led to them. If you believe the penalty was issued in error, contact TRACES customer support or your assessing officer for clarification and assistance in resolving the issue.
