Dear Sir,
we are filled correction returns for challan additions, after filling the returns we are verified status of corrections in TRACES it is showing processed with default, in that TDS paid amount not considered Instead of TDS considered interest amount against TDS liabilty and balance amount shown short payment in default notice, so we requested you to how rectified the errors in correction of challans. ex: mentioned below
TDS amount Rs.1629002/-
Interest on delay payment Rs.231648/-
Total Challan Amount Rs.1860650/- paid
in Default Notice showing an amount Rs.1397354/-
TDS Mapped Against This Challan Rs.1629002/-
Less Amount Consumed to the Extend Available Rs.231648/-
Total Short Payment Due to Unavailable Amount Rs.1397354/-
