This query is : Resolved

13 March 2017 can I pay commission on sale upto rs 150000 without deduct tds

14 March 2017 As per section 194H TDS @ 5 % is required to be deducted on any income by way of commission or brokerage to resident exceeding 15000, by the person responsible for such payment except those individual & HUF whose accounts were not required to be audited u/s 44AB.

If your accounts were audited in last financial year (preceding previous year) then you have to deduct TDS as per section 194H

14 March 2017 dear sir my accounts were not audited in last financial year because we have newly start business from 1-12-2016

24 October 2021 No need to deduct tds in your case.
