14 August 2013 education department of maharashtra govt deducted income tax from salary.however same is not reflected in 26AS form due to wrong tan number of institution. please advise how to rectify the above problem.

14 August 2013 still if tax is already deducted and paid to central govt then as per recent CBDT notification all such cases of mismatch will be allowed for availing tds credit.

for resolving this issue ask the deductor to check whether the pan and other details of deductee was properly provided or not.
