12 February 2009 i have made the payment in april 2008 for Sec 194J of Rs 27000/- what is the last date for payment of TDS ? Can i delay it up to 31 mar 2009

12 February 2009 Date of payment is one week from the last date on the month in which Deduction is made. it meens 7th May 2008.

But you can see its a previous year payments. TDs already deposited Please Check at your end.

If Advance payment then you are lible to pay TDs in 7th may 2008

12 February 2009 tds payment last date for the month of april is 07.05.2008 but as asked you may delay, for that you will have to pay intt @ 1% p.m. from the date of origin of the liability upto the date of payment on the TDS payable amount.

12 February 2009 You have to make the payment by 7th of April 2008, otherwise you will be liable to pay interest @ 1% per month or a paert of the month.
