sir I want to know whether is it necessary to create two separate account head for input tax and output tax. or is it okay if we maintain in a single account head
like 14.5%tax instead of 14.5 input tax and 14.5 output tax

Yes you may create but at the time of filling return you required the details separately for input & output and at that time you have to seperate input and output manually
