Self study for ca final

23 June 2013 My finals will be due in may 2015, & I have been getting loads of suggestions to join coaching classes,the problems is that I wanna go for self study no matter how much efforts it takes & i'm ready to do anything for this.,My attempts to do classes in IPCC was in vain , I wasted lots of time running out for classes , understood nothing & eventually had to go for selfsutdy & I can't see this being repeated in finals. So, can syllabus of finals be covered up by self study ? If yes what are the books which could help me best for finals subjects .

Also, I've already started studing for Financial reporting the book i'm refering to is of Snow White Publication by MP vijay kumar. Is it good book ?

Please guide me .

23 June 2013 Yes it is possible to pass CA final by self study. And also you can clear it in First Attempt. M. P. Vijay Kumar is really good book for Financial Reporting. For AS refer either ICAI module or reference book by some authors which would be available in Market.
For Audit Urvish Shah's book is good.
For Law: Munish Bhandari.
IDT: Yogesh Bangar
Apart from these reference books refer ICAI RTP and Practice Manual.

23 June 2013 And also there are crash courses for IPCC and Final conducted by Branches of ICAI. You can attend that also.

23 June 2013 as far as i have seen people who are doing genuine articleship it is really very tought time to attend classes for all subjects..some subjects can be done self study..

there are people who have succeded by just self study..all the best..just it will take some time extra to under stand the concept thats it..it can be done by self study easily...all the best..
