04 August 2011 Dear Experts,
What is the idea of introducing the Securities Transaction Tax for the shares listed in stock exchanges? Please explain the section which exempts dividend from being included in "Income from Other sources" of an individual. The concept of including short term capital gains from share disposed in which STT has been paid.
