AS PER SECTION F&O TRANSACTIONS ARE TAKEN AS BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS BUT THE LOGIC IS NOT CLEAR TO ME SO PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY IT SHOULD NOT BE TREATED AS CAPITAL GAIN TRANSACTIONS (SHORT OR LONG) IF NOT SPECULATIVE TRANSACTIONS
AND WHAT ABOUT TRANSACTIONS IN COMMODITY SALE AND PURCHASE AND THEIR FUTURES?
PLEASE CLERIFY IN DETAIL..

Commodities future trading would be specualtive and delivery transactions would be non speculative.
