Section 274(1)(g) from directors of independent pvt cos

Query

Whether Section 274(1)(g) requirement from directors shall apply to all type of companies or it shall not apply to an independent private company.

Section 274(1)(g) is applicable only to Public Companies. It is not applicable to a purely Private Company and a Private Company which is a subsidiary of Public Company.
