sales tax assessment for 2006-07 for local sales tax is 4% & for cst tax is 4%.
Question is : if c form not given what is rate of tax ?

as per rules, CST cannot be more than state VAT RATE.
Hence, in the mentioned case, even though VAT & CST rate are same, if C form is not issued, the applicable rate of tax will be 4%.
