How many times can we revise a income tax return?

no limit. But some mistake must have happened. Only that can be revised.

No limit but for that original return should have been filed well within time.

Ofcourse, there is no limit to revise the return if the original return has been filed on or before due date u/s 139(1).
But, note that time to issue notice for scrutiny will be counted from the date of last revise return.
