Return Filling--Urgent

27 August 2010 For the asst. year 2008-09, i filled the ITR4 for online filling but while filling the return online line it says that the time limit upto 31-03-2010,

Now what can i do..can i file the return manually if so in which form we will get the ack...

this return as per sec 139(4)
please help me on this----URGENT

27 August 2010 For A. Y. 2008 - 09 the last date to file belated return was 31.03.2010. So now ur return cannot be filed manually also.

28 August 2010 Actually said return is time barred so you cannot file and it is advisable not to try file also but if there is urgent requirement to file the same then you can contact with the jurisdiction and have talk with Assessing Officer. He will issue notice and instruct assessee to file the same. but it can be considered for compulsory scrutiny also.
