Dear,
I was employed in Nigeria from the period of
1) June 2010 - March 2011
2) April 2011 - March 2012
During this period my Income was transferred to NRE account only. Do i have to pay taxes on this Income received from a Fully foreing owned company with no offices in India.
Do I have to file NIL returns for the above mentioned period aswell??
Please reply in 2 seperate answers. Thanks you in advance.

No taxes should be paid in India, as per the facts stated by you.
NIL returns can be filed.
But you must be having interest income from NRO a/c or other income from India.

Dear Sir,
Indeed the Interest Income was received from my NRO a/c but that is still a nominal amount. There was no other Income received from any other source.
Because for applying for Home loans or for Business Visa usually they ask for Returns copy. This is where my doubt has come from.
