I want to know who to calculate the price of bonus share.

if i having 100 shares @ 70 Each if company issue bonus 2:1 what will be the price of that particular share after bonus?

22 October 2008 I do not quite understand the question. The bonus shares will be free of cost. Are you asking the valuation? It depends upon whether the shares are quoted or not quoted

22 October 2008 For the purpose of capital gains the cost of acquisition of bonus shares is to be taken as NIL and the for orginal shares the cost is the same ,i.e, @ 70 per share.
