Me har mahine 25000/- rent pay karta hu aur maine law ke mutabit TDS online paid kiya hai. Muje Office Owner ko Form No. 16 dena hai.TDS ki muje acknowledgement online mili hai jiska maine print out nikala hai. Muje kisine bataya hai ki acknowledegement no. Karvy Consultant me se lena padega . Kya ye sach hai?

You have to file ETDS returns on a quarterly basis giving the details of the payee, payees PAN, tds remittance details and the payment amount. On filing the ETDS returns, they will provide you a number based on which form 16A can be generated and issued to the payee

There is no need to ontain any other acknowledge number. Just write provisional acknowledge number, which u recd while filing TDS return, on from 16A to be issued to the landlord.
