I had filed retrun of mr. 'X' and claimed a tds refund of rs. 24000/-(approx). later on i received check from I.T. deptt. of Rs. 19000.
after one week i filed u/s 154 application in july 2010. now till today i recevied no intimation and refund from deptt. plzzzz suggest??????///

You can check the status online, If it is showing under process, you should more time.

First of all,How did Mr.X got refund?Have u filed Form 16 or Form 16A .If yes check with NSDL site (26AS),if they have actually being credited.Now if they have,then do as Mr.shailesh has said.Normally it is seen that so much time is taken for the refund to be credited to our account.
