Regarding new financial entries in tally

01 April 2013 Dear experts,

I am using tally 7.2 ersion, and i am using from last financial year 2012-13, now i want to do entries for new financial year 2013-14,but it is not excessing . kindly tell me how to carry this( company data) for new financial year.

02 April 2013 U do follow this step go to gate way tally & press alt+f2 & enter fy perioud (i.e. 01-04-2013 to 31-03-2014)

03 April 2013 Dear , i have already do this, but it is not changing permanent. when i start this then old financial year shows and every time i have to change financial year.

If there is any option of permanent change, kindly reply.

21 May 2013 Dear Vineet,

Why you are in nineties. Come out of it and upgrade at least 9.1 tally if not ERP. It is very much clear from your question that you are using pirated version of 7.2 tally.

To solve your problem you should put the period as 1.4.2007 to 31.3.2013 or 2014 it will work
