10 September 2010 Pls tell Can we still file the Income tax return for A.Y 2008-09 as the last date for late filing is 31.03.2010. Can we still file the Original return.
As the assessee total income is below taxable limit.

Sir I have tried to file the return online but it show the message "The due date for 'Original' IT Return of ReturnFileSec 11 for Assessment Year 2008 is only till 31-03-2010. Please contact DIT Administrator for further details "

10 September 2010 Only manual return can be filed, but that may attract a penalty of Rs. 5000/-

It is return for A. Y. 2008 -09 and not 2009 - 10. Please check whether return could be filed as even belated return is time barred.

24 September 2010 Subhash is right we can file mannual return. for on line filling we shuld get notice from income tax than we can file under sec. 13, 14, 15 after due date.
