Provident fund

This query is : Resolved

28 May 2009 In a mfg industry, there are around 50 workers. Their basic salary is Rs. 8000/-or more. My query is if PF is to be deducted or not as the basic salary exceeds the limit of Rs. 6500/-??????????

28 May 2009 Pf to be deducted, but for employee pension purpose from employer contribution limt is 6500/- , balance PF of employer ontribution should go to PF a/c

Ex: On 8000/- employer contribution is @ 12%=960/-

out of this 541/ should go to Employee pension fund and balance 419/- should go to Employee Providend Fund a/c

29 May 2009 More Clarity on PF
