But in fy 09-10 slab of pt was changed i.e. slab started from 0-5000 nil. is it true?

this will be differed by state wise. for example in karnataka up to 10k there is no prof. tax.

0 - 5000 - NIL
5001 - 10000 - 175
10001 and above - 200 and in month of march 300
0 - 5000 - NIL
5001 - 10000 - 175
