I am teaching in the Jr. college. My job is permanent in goverment granted college, timings in the afternoon. I cleared my CA final just now. I want to start practise at home. I dont have contacts. what type of work I can do? How I can proceed.

You can apply for COP and start doing Tax returns for the contacts you have (VAT or IT etc..) and thereby starting slowly and enter into helping finance (bank loans) for the needy.
Obviously you should have contacts to build your practice hence concentrate on getting network with other professionals as well.

Additionally Account finalisation and books keeping , roc works if u get can be done or certification work under various tax laws can be done after obtaining valid cop.
