05 October 2013 Hello Experts, I am Parshwa shah, a final CA student presently undergoing articleship.I will be appearing for final exams in May 2015. I have not yet decided whether to go for practice or job.Both at present stands equally viable option to me. I am planning to go for further a course or degree which can substantially add value to my professional life.Also I do not hold preference for law or finance.what earns more money with normal work schedule is concerm to me I will be completing my T.Y.Bcom in March 2014. Please guide me for future career prospects. waiting for earliest reply. Thanksgiving Parshwa shah.

28 October 2013 If you go for practice and earn name and fame then start your practice after your passing CA in middle size city as in big cities who have to join some big or middle size CA firm. If you go for service then you can appear for campus interview as well as you can try through your known friends and relatives. But once you select service then you are restricted to that industry and in long run whatever you have learned shall be of no use and only degree will be of high value and your experience can help you in getting better job.

In practice sky is the limit and your hard labour will earn money for you besides respect in the community and in the city provided you deliver the work honestly. There are many options like Income Tax Practice, Practice in Excise Laws, Practice in Indirect Taxation, Practice in Customs Laws and so on and so forth.

Therefore, you can decide accordingly
