09 August 2011 Respected Sir/Madam,
i had given 5th attempt of pcc in may 2011 but not cleared the exam.my registration in pcc was septmber 2007.i want to know if i had to reregister with ICAI anf maximum no. of attempts available in pcc. If I had to reregister than what are the formalities and there consequences if any..

Hi,

A. The maximum no. of attempts one can give with one registration no. is "FIVE"

B. Moreover, to extend the attempts, one has to pay the re-registration fees or has an option to re-register itself with new new registration no. altogether.

11 August 2011 Thanks,,But Please if you can provide me in written it will be very helpful. As i had not read anywhere and i had also heard that these are rumours Due to this i had converation with ICAI (PCC Scheme) New Delhi (Office) and i was confirmed by them that it is not so. and PCC students are eligble for Nov 2012.attepmt. and no need to reregister or revalidate..
