28 April 2009 There is one person from Nepal in our company who is staying in india from last 17 years till last year he was exempted from tax this year he is coming under tax bracket he want to GET PAN but he doesnt have any document. kindly advise

28 April 2009 Prepare an AFFIDAVIT or get a Notarised verification along with the Lease agreement where he stays, telephone bill (if possible). The documents should clearly state his/her identity and the proof of his residence.
Also a school leaving certificate or Birth certificate is needed for the purpose of proof of Birth date.
