07 July 2010 Is there any law that govern's paid leave.
Can a company have its own way of calculating paid leave/leave encashment.

and if not , then what is the procedure ..????

19 July 2010 yes of course, as long as it stands the test of precision and fit in into the margins of the materiality of the auditors for the specified item. of course it should at least have a rational/basis for calculating the said amount.
