i received the notice of income tax department u/s 143 (2)with the return of income tax submitted by 25th sep. 2009 for the assessment year 2009-10. this case has been selected through CASS.

IF YOU FILED RETURN ONLINE THEN OBVIOUSLY YES IT IS SELECTED THROUGH CASS.

bansalji before efiling was made compulsory also returns were being selected for scrutiny through CASS and also manual return filing is also selected through CASS. So it has nothing to do with efiling.

OK, BUT THE SAMETHING HE HAS MENTIONNED IN QUESTION ALSO THAT case has been selected through CASS. I.E HE WANT TO KNOW FULL FORM OF CASS.
