19 February 2017 Dear sir, due to clerical mistake we forget to approve 3cb 3cd of one of my client. Because of this client has received notice u/s 139(9). We have approved form but what should we reply to income tax site.

19 February 2017 The Reply of the Notice U/s 139(9) has to be done online. after logging at the income tax site.

Response should be in accordance to the defect that was given in the Notice.
Given The proper reason in the Remark column.

The Possible Reply can be that "Due to Clerical Mistake the Assessee forgot to approve the form and not the form is approved please process the return".
