Non Receipt of PAN Card

One of my client has not received his pan card in physical form which number is allotted in the year 2008.

Now how he will get physical PAN card?

08 December 2010 Dear Shekhar,

As your client has not received his PAN Card and the number is allotted to him, you need to fill in the form for Request for new PAN Card quotating the PAN Number allotted to him with other details. You need to attach the number allotted to your client, which you can get from the Income Tax website after filing in necessary details. Link is given below https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/portal/knowpan.do
Take a print out of this and enclose with the form and submit it to the nearest TIN facilitation centers. Hope your client will receive his PAN Card after this

08 December 2010 In continuation to what CA Jogi has said, I would like to add that you also need to give the same dcoumentary evidence once again even with the Request for new PAN card.

By the way, you can also check the status of the PAN card with www.tin-nsdl.com if you still have the 15-digit acknoweledgment number with you. Often, it also gives the shipment details.
