Nomenclature of Employees

Please let me know if the employees in an organisation can be designated as "Director", "Executive Director", "Director- Operations", "Director- Finance". Also kindly let me know which section of Companies Act to refer to.

The companies Act read with section 255 to 284(approximate bcz so many sec are daling with Directors) deal with that. But the act defines only following terms
DIRECTOR
MANAGING DIRECTOR
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
WHOLE TIME DIRECTOR
Off course we can suffix it by Operations Finance etc. There is no bar on that.
But we shd comply with the provisions of the Act regarding filing of Form 32.
