Need suggestion for books

Respected Experts
My CA FInal attempt is due in Nov 2011 & i am giving 1st group.I have finalised buks for preparation as guided by CCI Experts.These Include-
Accounts- Parveen Sir classes taken
AS- MP Vijay Kumar Sir
SFM-AN Sridhar
Law-Munish Bhandari
Audit- Not decided yet
So, plz tell me wich one to refer for Audit- VK Aggarwal/Padukas/S.bansal
CCI members told me that Paduka is huge stuff...can't be covered before xams...& S.bansal is too precise
wat should i do ? also tell me whether to refer seperate buk for SA's ?

As usual you leave your main subject Audit......
But now I will not suggest you to go for Paduka but you make take references from paduka for understanding some point.
Now read S. Bansal notes....indeed this are precise but enough to cover your course but take ICAI study material with you, coz you can crack exam easily after getting referenc from SM if ICAI. Don't forget it.

I have taken preparation leave frm now.I have once completed SFM & Accounts.SO, i am having enough time for preparation of 1st grp.
Isn't S.Bansal too precise ? also, Study Mat is too bulky to read.

This is your decision that you are going to take part for Ist group.
Please understand Study Material is so bulky but ICAI has taken bright step to improve quality of study mat for clear understanding.
Don't forget Study material prepared after extensive researches and nobody can make its own publication on Audit without taking the references from ICAI study mat.
Take scanner for past questions, you will find all the answers in study material.
No teacher can denied for ICAI study mat whether S. Bansal or Paduka or any other person.
Now if you have enough time then read paduka but I am again suggest to take reference from SM rather complete reading.

You are absolutely right that study mat should be read. But, if we are getting study mat in summarised form like padukas & VK aggarwal, then whaat is the benefit of study mat ?

Where you getting study material in summarised form? Study material has indepth knowledge. Just read and take interest.
ICAI will never take a chance to give you half knowledge and disrepute this profession.
If you have find and summarised form in study material in then mail ICAI publications or responsible person.
your suggestions will always be welcome there.
In the current scenario nobody take initiative to correct think but always criticize something.
This is rumors that study material have no use by the teachers and boost up their sale and coaching.
If you want to know I will provide you list of names of students got rank with the help of study materials. ICAI already mentioned the reference good book name in their publications.
Understand a book can not exhaustive source of knowledge, knowledge always come through continuous efforts and willingness to know the subject.
