Where the consent of party is obtain by misrepresentation, the contract is voidable. The agreemet is voidable at the opinion of whose party and why

The agreement is voidable at the option of the person whose consent has been obtained by misrepresentation.
The reason is same that he would not have entered into the agreement if the other person have not misrepresented the facts.
