25 January 2011 I wanted to know if its possible to try for a rank in CA final after clearing 1 group. If yes, what is the procedure? Also, if I give up the group which i cleared to aim for a rank, what happens if i fail to clear the same in the next go?

25 January 2011 no not possible to get rank when one group has already been passed.

25 January 2011 I know Aditya but I've heard that if someone's really keen to get a rank, he can drop the result of his cleared group and give both groups together the next time. Is that possible?

25 January 2011 It is possible only if you had got exemption in any of the subject. You can see the same in the exam form u fill.

So u can drop ur exemption to try for rank but dropping of group not possible.
