It is mandatory to File ER-1 Returns on monthly basis ( If it is SSI it can be on quarterly basis) on or before 10th of the subsequent month. If not you will be issued show cause notice.
You can file the ER-1 returns online.
To know the Excise collection, Central excise department will be asking you orally about the aprx. duty debits and aprx. amount of the the TR-6 payments on 1st or 2nd itself. Though the same details will be given in the ER-1which is filed on 10th.
