Legality of father -son landlord-tenant relationship

Would you pl guide on the subject : Legality of father-son landlord-tenant relationship.

House is owned by father. Can he let out it to his son where the son can claim HRA benifit and Father will show the Rent as income from house property.

It will be great if any judgement- reference could be produced in this regard.
