Leave during Article ship period

We are allowed a max. of 183 days leave during our 3.5 yrs of articleship period But according to institute rule we are allowed 1/6th leave of articleship period which comes to approx 212 days. Our HR dept has calculated 183 days according to 3 yrs.

Maximum leave is 180 days
It is 1/6 of days worked and not of total articleship period which inturn is 1/7 of total articleship period.

The total leave during the 3 year period of time will be worked out to be 180 days

Total period of articleship is 3 & 1/2 years and not 3 years and allowable leave during articleship is 180 days.
