It notice under 143(2)

Hi, I got IT Notice under 143(2) and appeared at IT Officer at Bangalore. Now they wanted to scutiny my IT Assessment for AY 2010-11. During that period I have claimed my HRA for 20,000/-Rs per month. Due to it has been some time back, I do not have any proof. Rest of all the Details with me. Please can you experts can help me what to do ?? If any one of you handled these kind of case or come across this situation, please guide me. Really apreciated your help/ guidence. Thanks in advance

If you have actually paid rent to someone, you can demand rent receipts from the landlord and show these receipts to the AO. But if you have not actually paid rent to anyone then it may create problem for you.
