Hi,
I am a recently qualified Chartered Accountant.
I would like to know whether the Standards on Internal Auditing have been made mandatory. if so from when?

Yes they have become mandatory. However there are seperate date of applicability for different SIA. So it needs to be checked for each standard. Some have become effective 01st April, 2007.
