sir ,
i hawifeve purchased a flat in joint name with my for 30 lacs to which i have paid 25 lacs and my wife has paid 5 lacs. now we want to give it on rent for rs.9000/- thousand per month.
my question is who can make and sign the agreement.
2. who sould show the income as both of us is income tax payee.
3. can my wife alone sign the agreement and show the amount received in her return. though she has paid only 5 lacs while purchasing the plat
4. or both has to show the amt received in there return of rent.

you both should offer your rental income individually In the ratio of ownership as both are earning persons.
