This discussion explores the complexities of declaring multiple properties for income tax purposes. The user is asking if they can declare a let-out property as self-occupied to claim full home loan interest deductions, and if they can declare two properties as self-occupied. Other users advise caution, suggesting that such declarations might raise red flags with the tax authorities and could lead to demands for proof like rent agreements.
